DEDICATED TO THE CITY
AND ITS YOUTH

Moscow, the city I call „home“ for the last 5 years is the topic of my first photo art-book. It gives me great pleasure that at the age of 27, I can give back something positive to the city which has given me the opportunity to experiment, produce, and develope with it, becoming the character I am today. This book is an expression of my vision of how its youth changed as I have, and how I played a major role in this dynamic change.

These last 2-3 years the style, energy, perspectives, music and vision of the youth and street-culture have transformed drastically, from something that was so ungenuine, tacky, and pretensious to a style which is very music oriented and individually tastful in a non commercial way. Our infamous BSM loft parties we had initiated 2 years ago at our first factory loft had took its own life in the way we had exactly wanted which resulted into the happenings of „new wave fridays“ and „idle conversation“ which I and my comrades produced and executed in a very natural but raw way. The impact we generated was something Moscow really didnt expect, but at the same time really needed for its youth culture to express themselves strongly with style, music, personality, attitude and fun. I am proud to be one of the originators of this happening.
